Thank you, Betrayal

There is a valuable gift in having been betrayed by loved ones or business associates or those who represent us (politically or otherwise).

Having been betrayed teaches us what to look for. We don’t have to go about life in denial or being blind. We can see what’s ahead and we can adjust ourselves and plans accordingly.

We can know what is important and what is not important after investing in things and people we should not have.

We can stop heading down wrong roads, using up precious time, energy and focus.

We can stop taking our anger out on people who we were aware couldn’t follow through or be trusted. We can stop being victims.

Betrayal teaches us.

Seize the lesson. Transform betrayal into discernment, wisdom and empowerment.
