Declaring Your States-of-Being

The healing journey entails creating new thought patterns in place of the old, ineffective, worn-out patterns. I look at this like having well-worn trails, and clearing the way for new trails to use.

This will help you get unstuck, aim towards your goals, and to become more open to what that entails.

One way to create new thought patterns is to come up with your desired states-of-being which inspire you. Write it down on a list And then read your list aloud whenever you think of it. Hearing your declarations in your own voice is important for retraining your brain.

For example, here are my desired states-of-being:

  • I am protected.

  • I am safe.

  • I am secure.

  • I am trusting of myself and of God's will.

  • I am strong.

  • I am vibrant.

  • I am energetic.

  • I am conscious.

  • I am wise.

  • I am sure.

  • I am clear.

  • I am creative.

  • I am innovative.

  • I am allowing.

  • I am patient.

  • I am at-ease.

  • I am calm.

  • I am loved.

  • I am loving.

  • I am lovable.
